This is a UX portfolio design file tailored for website design & development use - that means this is a design file to be later translated into development tools such as webflow, wix, etc.
This portfolio design file contains 2 main sections:
- Home - a page to showcase the number of projects/case studies you’ve designed
- Contact is a sub-division in home page
- Project - a detailed presentation of your case studies
Other points to note:
- I have designed this web UX portfolio piece with IBM carbon design system components and tokens, in which you can find/download on Figma community. This is to ensure maximum standardisation and productivity throughout this project.
- Font I have chosen is SF pro, which you download on the Apple website.
Frequently asked questions:
- Q: Why are there only 2 segments in this portfolio design?
- A: The underlying logic behind designing only two segments “home” and “project” is derived from how hiring managers and other junior/senior designers perceive your portfolio. Usually, they are only interested in who you are (your background & experience & whether you’re fitted for one position that they are hiring) AND what projects you’ve completed (whether you have the skills to develop if you’re junior & whether you can full-fill the new job responsibilities if you’re a senior designer) Therefore, focus your energy on what’s most important in your portfolio and ditch the non-relevant pages.
